The Denver Justice and Peace Committee (DJPC) is a grassroots organization, that promotes human rights, economic, and environmental justice through education and nonviolent activism to support communities, seeking justice for all people. We stand in solidarity with peoples in the Americas, particularly with oppressed communities in Latin America.

Friendship Bridge Organization 

  • Friendship Bridge is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit social enterprise with a mission to create opportunities that empower Guatemalan women to build a better life. Friendship Bridge operates 13 branch offices in Guatemala and provides a suite of products and services including microcredit, Non-Formal Education, and access to culturally-appropriate healthcare. Clients are 100% women, primarily indigenous Maya, and live in rural communities with some of the highest poverty levels worldwide. In 2024, we served nearly 36,000 clients.

UPAVIM 

  • UPAVIM helps support the women of La Esperanza, Guatemala in their work for better economic, healthcare, and educational opportunities for themselves, their families, and their community. 

Next 100 Colorado

  • Next 100 Colorado aims to tell accurate stories about our outdoor spaces is key to building a justice-oriented conservation and outdoor recreation movement through confronting the history of Colorado’s public lands as stolen Indigenous lands that have been historically segregated, excluding Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.

  • Colorado Equity Compass helps communities and organizations that serve them better understand social justice issues advocating for change using data and stories to empower communities, consolidate diverse resources, connect peers, and align communities and institutions.
