American Pachuco: The Legend of Luis Valdez

Call2Act Partner

Teatro Latino Mission Statement:

Teatro Latino is a small initiative in Fort Collins that began in 2024, dedicated to uplifting and sharing Latino stories through theatre and storytelling. We want to tell stories about the challenges our communities face and bring light to them, but also share the stories of the good things happening, moments of happiness, resilience, and love. Our community is diverse, and our stories deserve to be seen and heard. Teatro Latino is proudly Latino, immigrant, and queer-led.

American Pachuco: The Legend of Luis Valdez includes a small amount of archival footage of Cesar Chavez to provide historical context about the farmworker movement and the cultural moment that shaped Valdez’s work. We acknowledge the recent allegations against Chavez. Please find included organizations that support survivors.
