We are so excited for the 2018 ACT Human Rights Film Festival, so we are kicking things off early. Our 2018 festival kickoff party will take place on Tuesday March 20th from 7pm-9pm at Odell Brewing Co. This FREE event will feature the release of Odell Brewing Co.’s 2018 Screening Session IPA, a festival ticket giveaway, a preview of the 2018 film lineup, live music, and more!
Odell Brewing Co. has been a partner of the ACT Film Festival since the beginning. Each year that the festival has been held, Odell has hosted our kickoff party as well as brewed a Screening Session craft beer just for us.
A local craft brewery, Odell was opened by Doug and Wynne Odell in 1989 right here in Fort Collins. They were inspired by the many small craft breweries in the UK and wanted to bring that tradition home with them. Odell draws its inspiration from English, Belgian, and German brewing traditions, but aims to make “uniquely American craft beer.” Distributing in 14 states nationwide, the brewery is the 34th largest of its kind in the country. Odell values unique experiences with its wide variety of beers and doesn’t take the easy route when it comes to making quality brews.
The brewery is known for its hop-forward beers, like their Drumroll Pale Ale, Myrcenary Double IPA, 5 Barrel Pale Ale, and more. Odell also brews a variety of other types of beer including their 90 Shilling Amber Ale–which is their best selling brew–and an array of seasonal beers throughout the year.
We are excited to announce the 2018 festival kickoff party in partnership with Odell. To learn more, visit our event. The kickoff party is free, but we ask that you RSVP here. To learn more about Odell Brewing Co., visit their website.
