BLACK TABLE film screening + reception

ACT is thrilled to join with CSU’s Office for Inclusive Excellence for an exclusive screening of the 2024 documentary BLACK TABLE as part of this year’s Symposium for Inclusive Excellence. Reception with mingling and light bites will commence at 5:30 p.m. at The Lyric and the film starts at 6:30 p.m. The film’s co-directors will join via livestream for an audience Q&A following the screening.

Film synopsis: Black students at Yale in the 1990s formed a tight-knit community around a shared dining table. With affirmative action abolished, their experiences shed light on the value of diversity and inclusion in higher education.
