The 7th ACT Human Rights Film Festival’s took place March 31 – April 10 in Fort Collins and online.
After two years of fully virtual festivals, ACT returned to theatres to screen unforgettable films. Opening night took place in the Lory Student Center Theatre and the remaining 12 film blocks screened off campus at The Lyric. Photos from opening night’s screening of The Caviar Connection: How to Buy Democracy are available here.
Highlights included the North American premiere of From Shame to Pride by Kris Barz Mendonça/Krisa Gonna; conversations with filmmaker Skye Fitzgerald, whose film Hunger Ward screened as part of the festival; live music by CSU musicians, and guided meditations.
ACT is made possible thanks to community, campus, and media partners. Please help us thank these contributors.
