Synopsis

In a small town in 1960s India, cinema is believed to corrupt women and young minds. Devi, a 14-year-old girl, dreams of watching a film in the theatre. Her neighbor, Mohan, is a 14-year-old boy and a cinephile. Every night, he narrates stories from his favorite films for her. One day, an unforeseen incident offers Devi an unexpected opportunity.
